MUSIC USAGE TERMS
Thank you for supporting my music. I’m happy for independent creators to use my work in their projects, provided that the following terms are respected.
These terms apply to music written, produced, recorded, or otherwise controlled by Johannes Lang, referred to below as “the Music” and “the Rights Holder”.
Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use a purchased track as part of one personal or non-commercial creative project.
Examples include:
Short films and animations
Personal YouTube videos and other online videos
Student and university projects
Non-commercial indie games
Personal artwork and creative projects
Non-commercial podcasts
The license is worldwide and lasts for the duration of the applicable copyright, provided that you continue to comply with these terms.
Purchasing a track does not transfer ownership or copyright. All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by the Rights Holder.
This license covers only the rights that the Rights Holder is entitled to grant.
Please credit the music whenever reasonably possible, ideally in the credits of your project and/or its online description.

A link to my official spotify page, youtube page or instagram page is appreciated.
You may trim the track, adjust its volume, or fade it in and out as needed to fit your project.
You may not remix, resample, rearrange, substantially alter, or create derivative musical works from the Music without prior written permission.
You may not resell, redistribute, share, or make the original music files available as standalone downloads. You may not include them in sample packs, music libraries, stock music collections, or similar products.
The standard license does not include commercial use.
Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:
Advertisements and branded content
Commercial films, animations, and games
Client commissions and business projects
Monetized videos, podcasts, or other content
Paid distribution, licensing, or other revenue-generating uses
If you wish to use the Music commercially, please contact me before using or publishing it. A separate written agreement is required.
If a project initially licensed for non-commercial use later becomes commercial, you must contact me before beginning the commercial use. We can then agree on an appropriate license and any applicable compensation.
No commercial rights are granted automatically by purchasing a track or by the project becoming successful.
The Music may not be used in projects that promote, encourage, or glorify racism, discrimination, hatred, harassment, exploitation, extremist organizations, or violence against individuals or groups.
It may not be used for extremist propaganda or political campaigning without prior written permission.
I reserve the right to decline licensing requests for uses that are reasonably incompatible with these restrictions or with the intended purpose of this license.
You may not register the Music with YouTube Content ID, Meta Rights Manager, or similar automated copyright identification or enforcement systems without prior written permission.
You may not claim ownership of the Music or issue copyright claims against others based on rights you do not own.
You may not use the Music to train, fine-tune, develop, or improve AI or machine-learning systems without prior written permission.
If you breach these terms, I may notify you and request that you stop or correct the unauthorized use. Where legally permitted, I may terminate the license if the breach is not remedied within a reasonable period, or immediately where the breach is serious and cannot reasonably be remedied.
Upon termination, you must stop the unauthorized use and remove the Music from affected projects where legally required. This does not limit any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
If you are unsure whether your project is covered, or if you need a commercial or other special license, please contact me before using the Music.
Written permission may be granted by email and may specify different terms for a particular project.
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Germany, subject to any mandatory legal protections or rules that apply to the relevant parties.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
By requesting, accepting, or exercising the license described above, you agree to comply with these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use the Music under this license.
